Ethan Zimmerman
Request An Appointment- Gastroenterology
Dr. Zimmerman was raised mostly in mountains of North Carolina where his father was a small-town physician. He developed an interest in colonoscopy during residency as he became attracted to the early detection and prevention of disease. After a decade working for the U.S. Air Force, he moved to Chattanooga in 2018 with his wife and their five children. They thoroughly enjoy the Scenic City and the multitude of outdoor recreational activities it offers.
Besides hiking and camping, Dr. Zimmerman enjoys playing soccer and piano, tinkering in the woodshop, and electric trains. He serves on the board of directors for the Hamilton County Medical Society and the American Association for Primary Care Endoscopy. In his practice he provides full service primary care with an endoscopy focus on screening colonoscopy including the removal of precancerous polyps.
